Children’s System of Care (CSOC)
CSOC is an interagency coordinated service delivery system to prevent children or youth from entering out-of-home placement or facilitating the least restrictive placement at a lower level of care, for a shorter duration of time, and in a facility that is as close to the child’s county of origin as possible. Member agencies of CSOC include the Mendocino County Department of Social Services, Mental Health, Mendocino County Office of Education, SELPA, Department of Probation, Alcohol and Other Drug Programs, and the Department of Public Health.
